Refrigerant port manifolding

Manifolding is the design of the outdoor unit's internal plumbing that splits a single compressor output into multiple independent refrigerant lines. This is the "heart" of our Multi-Zone series, allowing for separate control of each room. In a Tri-Zone setup, the manifold uses three electronic expansion valves to meter the fluid with extreme precision. To keep this manifold clean and efficient, it is important to elevate the condenser using a Ground Stand to prevent flooding. Protecting the multiple copper lines that exit this manifold is the primary job of our Line Set Covers. For those needing the highest number of connections, the Penta-Zone system features a five-port manifold for total home coverage. This complex engineering is what makes decentralized cooling both possible and highly efficient.
