What the Limited Warranty covers +

The Bravo Limited Warranty applies to eligible Bravo products that are installed by a licensed HVAC technician, registered within 60 days of installation, and operated at the original installation address by the original owner. Subject to the model purchased, coverage generally includes a parts limited warranty (for example, 3 Years Parts and model-specific compressor coverage) for defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance.

The warranty begins on the date of registration. Any part, component, or product replaced under the warranty is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period and does not receive a new full term.

What is not covered – installation & application +

The warranty does not cover issues arising from improper installation, application, or selection. This includes equipment installed outside of North America, equipment not installed according to manufacturer guidelines, equipment that has been removed from the original installation site and reinstalled elsewhere, or systems that are improperly matched, under-sized, over-sized, or misapplied.

Claims may also be denied if registration information cannot be verified (for example, invalid license number or incorrect information provided), or if the product has been altered, modified, or used with non-compatible parts or third-party components.

What is not covered – events & conditions +

The warranty does not cover damage or repairs caused by external events outside Comfortside’s control. Examples include fires, storms, accidents, floods, broken or frozen water pipes, electrical surges, incorrect voltage, lightning, or corrosive environments. Damage due to moisture, air, dust, sand, dirt, or other contaminants allowed into the system is also excluded.

Cosmetic changes such as minor fin damage or scratches on the cabinet are not considered functional failures. Damage caused by operating the product after a known malfunction or error code has appeared is not covered.

Labor, materials & refrigerant +

The Bravo Limited Warranty is a parts-only warranty unless otherwise required by law. Labor costs for diagnosis, removal, installation, or servicing of parts are the responsibility of the owner. Costs for supplies and field materials used during service, and any expenses related to travel, lodging, transportation, or shipping are not covered.

All costs related to refrigerant are excluded, including charging, recharging, adjustment, or removal, and the cost of refrigerant itself. Products are thoroughly tested and shipped sealed from the factory, and Comfortside does not cover claims based solely on lack of refrigerant at arrival or during installation.

How to request warranty service +

If you believe you have a warranty issue, contact your licensed HVAC technician first so they can visit the site and diagnose the unit. While the technician is on site, they should call Comfortside Technical Support at (786) 953-6706, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time.

The technician will need the unit serial number, the product purchase invoice, the installation invoice from a licensed HVAC technician, and any existing case number from prior calls. Comfortside may request photos, measurements, and other diagnostic information before approving a parts claim. Technical Support agents troubleshoot issues step by step and may address multiple error codes or failures over more than one interaction.

Legal & arbitration notice +

The Bravo Limited Warranty is available only to the original registered owner at the original installation address and is not transferable. Comfortside may repair or replace parts at its sole discretion; shipping costs for replacement parts are the responsibility of the owner. No dealer, contractor, or other party is authorized to modify the warranty terms or create additional obligations on Comfortside’s behalf.

This warranty includes an arbitration clause that generally requires disputes between you and Comfortside (and its affiliates and representatives) to be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court or by jury trial, except where prohibited by law. Arbitration is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, and unless otherwise required, hearings will typically take place in the judicial district of Miami-Dade County, Florida. Each party is usually responsible for its own costs, attorneys, and experts, subject to applicable law and arbitration rules.

Warranty begins on the date of registration and applies only to registered products installed by a licensed HVAC technician at the original installation address. The Bravo Limited Warranty is available only to the original registered owner and is not transferable to subsequent owners or locations.

The warranty generally covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, for the stated warranty period on eligible models. It does not cover labor, refrigerant, field materials, improper installation or application, damage from power conditions or acts of nature, cosmetic damage, or damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or continued operation after a fault has been indicated.

This warranty includes important limitations and an arbitration clause that governs most disputes with Comfortside, LLC. Some states do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so you may have additional rights which vary from state to state. Refer to your full Bravo Limited Warranty document for complete terms and conditions.
