Refrigerant Flow Optimization
Refrigerant flow optimization is the electronic management of the "Expansion Valve" to ensure the perfect amount of liquid reaches the evaporator. This is especially critical in a Tri-Zone system where one unit might be 50 feet further from the condenser than another. Our 42,000 BTU 3-Zone (12k+12k+18k) models use independent valves for each line to maintain this balance. To protect these complex copper lines, we suggest using Line Set Covers to prevent physical damage or kinking. Proper flow is verified during installation using the specialized gauges found in our Installation Kits. Without this optimization, some rooms would be significantly warmer than others despite having identical heads. Our technology ensures that every drop of refrigerant is used to its maximum thermal potential.
