Condensing Unit

The condensing unit is the outdoor part of the mini-split system that houses the compressor and condensing coil. It is responsible for releasing heat collected from the indoors or absorbing heat from the outside air. Heavy-duty condensers like the MRCOOL Olympus 48,000 BTU are built to withstand harsh weather. To ensure longevity, many owners use a Wall Bracket to keep the unit off the ground and away from debris. Regular maintenance of the condenser coils is necessary to keep the system running at peak efficiency. It is the powerhouse of the entire HVAC setup.
