Capillary Flow Synchronization
Capillary flow synchronization is the method used in smaller units to ensure the refrigerant pressure is dropped precisely before entering the cooling coil. This is a hallmark of the Bravo Milano 9,000 BTU Universal Floor/Ceiling systems, which prioritize simple, reliable engineering. In Multi-Zone systems, this flow is managed by electronic sensors to accommodate varying line lengths. Protecting the external copper from kinks is essential for maintaining this flow, which is why we recommend Line Set Covers. If the flow is restricted, the Dual-Zone system may experience icing on the outdoor valves. Using the correct tools from our Installation Kits allows for the perfect flare connections needed for synchronized flow. This attention to fluid dynamics is what allows our smaller units to punch well above their weight class.
